WAITING ROOM

El bajo es uno de mis instrumentos favoritos,, quier decir que las canciones en las que el bajo juega un papel preponderante siempre me han gustado.

El bajo de Joy División, Presidentes of the USA, Red Hot Chili peppers, Fugazzi, Luna (en este caso por el carisma, la sensualidad y la magia de Britta Philips) son en mi opinión claves en el sonido y en la imagen de estos grupos. O quizá simplemente me fascinan e incrementan mi pasión por su música.

Quisiera apoyar mi argumentación con el tema más clásico de Fugazzi, "Waiting Room", enterperetada en uno de esos directos que uno quisiera haber vivido.... Menuda fiesta!!!!!

Fugazi es una banda america de rock alternativo constituida en Washington Dc en 1987, formada por Ian MacKaye (cantante y guitarrista), Guy Picciotto (segundo vocalista), Brendan Kanty (bateria) y Joe Lally como bajista.

Su música a veces parece una combinación entre el punk rock de lso stooges con el reagge jamaicano. Parten del hardcore punk incorporando ritmos del funk y del reagge desarrolando canciones con una estructura basadas en stops-starts e impresionantes riffs al estilo heavy de bandas como los s Zeppelin. Lally con su bajo y su participación vocal lograba frecuentemente una gran intensidad emocional. Vamos que pone los pelos de punta. Joder tienen muchísima marcha
