Primavera Club

Echando un ojo a los próximos conciertos y festivales que tendrán lugar este otoño me he encontrado con el cartel del próximo Primavera Club, que tendrá lugar a finales de noviembre dond ehe comprobado que tocarán grupos que siempr eme han facinado y que no he tenido la oportunidad de ver en directo como es el caso de OLIVIA TREMOR CONTROL

También encontraremos en el Cartel del Primavera Club 2011, al inimitable Stephen Malkmus (ex-Pavement), lo cual, dicho de sea de paso, me emociona.

Olivia Tremor Control

La recomendación musical del día es el grupo OLIVIA TREMOR CONTROL un grupo indie americano, que se formo en Athens (georgia) en 1994, y que se disolvió en el 2000. Aunque posteriormente se han juntado de vez en cuando a tocar en directo.

Su música es una mezcla de experimentación y química. De hecho la química está muy presente en todos sus albumes. Donde se intercalan canciones pop de 2 a 3 minutos de duración con collages sonoros electro-acústicos de hasta 10 minutos de duracción.

Pero independientemente de como se quiera definir el tipo de música que hacían, lo realmente destacable es que tiene temas muy buenos.

A mi me tiene fascionado y espero que os gusten.

Lamentablemente el audio del video no es muy bueno, pero a continuación acompaño un lista de reproducción donde podreís escucharlos con más nitidez. Pero es que creo que siemprte aporta bastante el ver a un grupo tocar en directo, auqneu sea como en este caso, a través de un video de tan baja calidad.

También hay que tener en cuenta que no disfrutaron de ningún tipo de éxito comercial y que no se les grabaron actuaciones en directo mientras estuvieron en activo. O al menos yo no las he encontrado.
