Hace unos días, me dejaron el DVD del documental "The Devil and Daniel Johnston" y aunque conocía algunos temas de Daniel Johnston,. desde entonces me tiene fascinado.

En realidad en la mayoria de los casos conoces la música de un artísta, pero no ytiene sni idea de su vida. Y claro, también existe personas que tiene una biografia cuando menos curiosa. En el caso de Daniel Johnston, la realidad supera la ficción. Si hubiera sido un telefilme, era de los buenos. Pero seb trata de un documental. Que por cierto fue reconocidso en Sundance 2005 (creo, no estoy seguro)

La verdad es que lo mejor de todo es que se trata de un músico d elos pies a la cabeza: con canciones muy buenas. Y eso está por delante de su accidentada biografia.

Tiene un album imporesionante que grabó en casette, en el verano de 1983: Yip Jump Music
