El otoño del año pasado estuve en el concierto de madrid de DEUS. Una de esas bandas que están muy unidas a mi vida de una manera intensa por mero azar. Aunque alguina vez pensé que tenían un sentido esa aparente casualidad.
Ahora se que no. Que la casualidad es simplemente eso una casualidad y es que el azar tiene una presencia evidente en la vida, por eso mismo, la ausencia de control en los acontecimientos que nos suceden es por lo que he llegado a la conclusión que hay que aprender a disfrutar de lo que se tiuene y de cada día que tenemos la fortuna de vivir.
Eso evidentemente es que me estoy haciendo mayor....

Venice is sinking fabrican una música que podría encuadrarse en una especie de mezcla entre Space-rock, pop orquestal, americana, slowcore....
En el 2006, con su primer albúm "Sorry abaout the flowers" tuvieron cierto reconocimiento en EEUU en el circuito independiente gracias a su sonido tan dulce como la combinación de voces de sus solistas y a la utilización de la viola.
Durante 2007 y 2008 grabaron su segundo y posiblemente último albúm "Azar"
En sus melodias se entreve esa sensación de final incierto
A mi siempre me ha parecido una música ideal para el Otoño, que hoy estrenamos.
